Lee Buddy Richardson

July 7, 1933 — June 26, 2019

Lee Buddy Richardson, age 85, of Wentzville, Missouri passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 26th, 2019 surrounded by his family. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on July 7th, 1933 to Oscar and Bertha Richardson (nee Sapaw).

Lee was a veteran who served in the United States Army from 1953-1955. He retired from Express Scripts in 1995 and he was a member of Local 688 Teamsters (Optical).
He was the most genuine, kind-hearted, loving person and he never met a stranger. Family was always the most important thing in his life and they always came first. Lee was a loving husband, devoted father, cherished grandfather and great-grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, cousin, uncle and friend. He had a personal relationship with the Lord and he loved Jesus with all of his heart.
He enjoyed traveling the country and making road trips in the RV, trout fishing, and was known for his famous homemade ice cream, fudge and banana pudding. He was an avid do-it-yourselfer. There wasn't a thing that he couldn't fix.

Survived by his wife of sixty-six years, Norma (Brunner) Richardson, his children Steven (Jane) Richardson, Mike (Laurie) Richardson, Dave (Jennifer Biggs) Richardson and Sherry (Jason) Boehme. His nine grandchildren Stephanie (Chris), Tom (Tama), Michael, Missy (Tim), Tony, Matthew, Amber (Brandon), Kyle and Taylor, his great-grandchildren Nathan, Carter and Knox and sisters Maryellen and Tami (Tom).

He is preceded in death by his parents Oscar and Bertha, and siblings Oscar, Barbara, Sadie, Ruby, Melba, Shirley, Pat, Alice, Pete and Joe.

Lee was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew or came in contact with him.
