Lela Jeannette Atzert, age 85, of O'Fallon, Missouri passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on December 14, 1932 to the late Ralph and Louise Caldwell (nee Trueb).
Lela was a homemaker who enjoyed playing cards, bingo and having lunch with the girls. She was married to the late Joseph Atzert for 64 years before his passing December 13, 2017.
Lela is survived by her children, Christina L. (Bob) Mochel and Daniel J. Atzert; grandchildren, Robert E Mochel, Jr. and Lisa J. (Andrew) Geiser; ; great-grandchildren, Ellah Geiser and David Geiser; brother, Ralph (late Joan) Caldwell and a host of other family members and friends.
Funeral Ceremony will be 11:30 am Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Visitation will be from 9:30 am until 11:30 am at Newcomer in the chapel prior to the ceremony on Saturday, April 14, 2018. Interment will be private at a later date.
