Linda Brennan, age 80, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2023. She was born in Columbus , Ohio on June 17, 1943 to Paul and Dorothy Chambers (nee Liggitt).
Linda loved to live life to the fullest, including many years of sailing and camping. She also enjoyed some time working in the real estate field in many capacities. Linda was a talented seamstress and spent much time volunteering at her children's schools, wherever she was needed. She and her husband Marshall shared a passion for music and many evenings the Brennan home was filled with song. Linda loved being involved in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and was even affectionately known, by some, as "Bon Jovi Grandma". She found joy in researching genealogy. In her later years, Linda frequently traveled with friends.
Linda is survived by her children Kathleen (Scott) Cumbie, David (Julie) Brennan, and John (Carrie) Brennan; her grandchildren, Katelyn (Michael) Glaze, Patrick Brennan, Corinne Brennan, Natalie Cumbie, Jack Cumbie, Sean Brennan, and Cohen Brennan; her great-grandchildren, Atticus Glaze, Phineas Glaze, Silas Glaze, and Estelle Glaze; and her brothers, David Chambers, and Donald Chambers. She will be dearly missed by a host of many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Brennan; her father, Paul Chambers; and her mother, Dorothy Chambers Puff.
A private graveside service will take place at a later date.
