Linda Diane Palmasano
February 26, 1951 — May 2, 2018
Linda Diane Bergman Palmasano, age 67, of St. Peters, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2018.
Linda Diane Bergman-Palmasano came into this world on February 26th, 1951. She was greeted by her parents Ona Ruth & Roy Bergman. Linda is the baby of the pack and preceded by her siblings Lucille, Bernard, Ruthene, Glen, Carol & Brenda.
Born in Saint Louis, Missouri. Linda attended Southwest High School where she diligently completed her studies, while being a handful in not always obeying the rules. Linda and the rest of the family were members of Southwest Baptist Church. Linda, along with her best friend Mabel, volunteered to teach Sunbeams and participated in choir; Linda's voice was one that stood out above all others as it was peaceful and healing to all ears.
Linda enjoyed traveling, playing golf, watching classic movies and becoming a novice history buff. She also made it a priority to be there for not only family, but for her friends as well.
Linda is survived by her son, Samuel David Palmasano, her grand-daughter Bella (a handful, but very loving labor retriever) as well as her two sisters- Carol Meyer & Brenda Cox. In addition, to them Linda is also survived by many, many nieces, nephews and God children loving each with all her heart.
Linda lived her life based on the teachings of the Lord. The one prayer she said daily before going to work and up to the day she retired, April 29, 2015:
"God grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change; Courage to change the things I can; and the wisdom to know the difference".
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Services are Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 9:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home (Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions), 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, Saint Peters, Missouri 63376.
Interment will follow the funeral ceremony at Our Lady Cemetery 8701 Ord Rd, Lake St. Louis, MO 63367
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society in honor of Linda.
