Linda L. Stevens

Linda L. Stevens, age 81, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 in Saint Charles, Missouri. She was born in Parma, Missouri on September 12, 1941 to Rutherford and Syble Corlew (nee Ramsey).
Linda was strong in her Faith and put God first in every aspect of her life; she was a member of Hazelwood Baptist Church. She was a talented artist with an incredible talent for painting. Linda enjoyed spending her time camping and vacationing with her husband, Richard and her sisters. Her pride and joy were her family; especially her "Dorky" grandsons. Linda will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, nurturing and fun grandma, caring sister, and a beloved friend.
Linda is survived by her sons, Randy Stevens and Doug (Kim) Stevens; daughter, Michelle (Patrick Allen) Stevens two grandchildren, Sean and Kevin Stevens; four sisters, Joyce Hughes, Patsy Aaron, Bonnie Winberry, and Pam Corlew; brother, James (Rowena) Corlew; three sister-in-laws, Norma Ratchford, Leveada Stevens, and Rainelda Hidalgo; nephew, Larry "Butch" Harden; friend, Brian (Krissy) Hart; and a host of other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Stevens; father, Rutherford Corlew; mother, Syble Corlew; and brother, Joseph "Archie" Corlew.
A visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Monday, August 28, 2023 at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Additional visitation time will be from 10:30 am until 11:30 am with a Funeral Ceremony immediately following at 11:30 am on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at St. Peter's Chapel. Interment to follow funeral service at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the American Cancer Society or the National Kidney Foundation in Linda's name.
The family would like to thank the Corlew sisters for being wonderful caregivers to Linda as well as Pathway's Hospice staff for providing excellent care to her and their family.
