Lois Evelyn Bequette, age 89, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 in Chesterfield, Missouri with her grandson, Brandon Emig, by her side. She was born in Camp Pointe, Illinois, on June 21st, 1934 to Samuel and Stella DeMoss (nee Cunningham).
Lois was an avid walker, reader, collector of clowns, traveler and Mother of six. She loved her family unconditionally. She also loved her cats Sparkle, Sammy, and Otto. Lois traveled the world with big groups of travelers. Working two jobs for 30 years wasn't easy, but she did it very well. She went all over Europe, Canada, Alaska and on many different cruises. She was the friendliest person anyone could have ever met and loved by many people.
Lois is survived by her Children, Robert Bequette, April Davidson, Paris Sunderland, Robin Bequette, William (Vicky) Bequette, Antoinette "Toni" (Ken) Bequette; Twelve grandchildren, Bridgette Lounsberry, Tricia (Ted) Bequette, Christopher (Sarah) Kearney, Kyle (Emily) Saueberlich, Jennifer Lois (Jeff Adams) Winkler, April Davidson II, William Jacob Kramer, Brandon (Erin) Emig, Jennifer Renshaw, Anna (Daniel) Schivette, William Bequette II, Tiffany Bequette; many Great-Grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.
She was one of 9 kids in her primary family with her sister Mona being the last surviving sibling.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Samuel and Stella DeMoss; Daughter, Paris Sunderland.
A visitation will be held on November 30 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Eulogy will take place at 12:00 pm given by her grandson, Brandon Emig.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Alzheimer's Association and the wonderful Pathways Hospice where the staff have so much love and respect for their patients.
