Lois attended St. Engelbert's Grade school and St. Mark's High School. After graduation she entered the Dominican Sisters of Sparkhill Convent, in Sparkhill, New York from 1955 to 1972. She earned a Master's Degree in Teaching. Lois taught in the Riverview and Parkway School Districts.
She was very active in her parish, St. Joseph's Church in Manchester, Missouri. She taught PSR for many years, and was very active in ACTS Lay Retreats.

Lois had so many friends that no matter where she went, she always ran into someone she knew. She had wonderful neighbors and friends that were always willing to help her with things around the house.
But one of her many pleasures were going out to lunch with a group of lady friends. She was definitely kept busy with her social life. She was a friend to so many and an inspiration to all.
