Lois J. Tobin

Lois J. Tobin, age 83, of O Fallon, Missouri passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2024, in O Fallon, Missouri. She was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on October 11, 1940, to Clarence and Zelma Roth (nee Walpen). 

Lois was devout in her faith. She always cherished the time she spent with her family. Lois enjoyed traveling, fishing, meeting with friends for lunch, and gardening. In her travels over the years, Lois visited many exotic locations. She was a member of a metal detecting club. Lois loved to go on annual pond tour with her best friend, Sandy. She would travel every winter to Winter Haven, Texas to enjoy time with friends and the warm weather.  If you knew Lois, you were immediately her friend. 

Lois is survived by her son, Tim (Brenda) Tobin; her daughter, Kelly S. (Michael) Hollis; her grandchildren, Sarah (Greg) VanPelt, Mandy (Steve) Bostic, Brandon Hollis, and Dan (Aerial) Tobin; her great-grandchildren, Mia Bostic, Owen Bostic, Gavin Bostic, Mason VanPelt, MaKenna VanPelt, and Westen Tobin; and her fiancé, Dan Lewis. She will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Tobin; her father, Clarence Roth; and her mother, Zelma Roth. 

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. The funeral procession to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church will leave at 9:15 am from Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions. Mass will be held at 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 7701 Town Square Avenue, Dardenne Prairie, MO 63368. Burial will follow mass at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Florissant.
