Lola Mae Waymon

Lola Mae Waymon, 79, of St. Charles, Missouri passed away on January 3, 2018. Lola was born in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas on January 8, 1938 to the late Alvin and Rosie Skimahorn. She married the love of her life, Don Waymon, on June 23, 1957. The moved to St. Louis in 1959 where they raised their family. Lola worked for the Army/Navy Records Center until her retirement in 1998. She was involved with the Eastern Star throughout her adult life.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a great-grandson, August Austin Ackmann. She is survived by her husband Harold Don Waymon; two sons, Larry Waymon and Steve Waymon (Dawnise); five grandchildren, Matt Waymon (Chaney), Aidan Waymon, Alysha Ackmann (Mark), Brad Waymon and Abby Goerke; and two great-grandchildren, Declan Cole Waymon and Lincoln Wade Waymon.

Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, MO). The family will greet friends from 1:00 pm until time of service at the funeral home.
