Loretta Buchanan

Loretta Buchanan age 92, of Saint Peters, MO passed away on February 6, 2018 at the Villages of St. Peters. She was born on July 11, 1925 in St. Louis, MO. Loretta was the daughter of Herman and Agatha (Pflum) Zahn.

Loretta was a former member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church; Hazelnut Seniors and St. Peters Senior Center. Loretta also enjoyed working in her yard and attending to her flowers, crocheting, sewing and being with and taking care of her family.

Loretta is survived by her daughter, Patricia Ann (Joseph) Totterer of St. Peters, MO; son, Phillip D. Buchanan of St. Charles, MO; 5 grandchildren, Donna Ann (Dean) Peters, Ryan D. Blanchfield, Courtney Ann (Ryan) Treadway all of St. Peters, MO, Nicholas P Buchanan of St. Charles, MO and Jacqueline K Buchanan of Florissant, MO; and 9 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Loretta was preceded in death by her brothers, Herman Zahn, Joseph Zahn; and Edwin Zahn; sister, Agnes Humes; and her grandson, Craig D. Blanchfield.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 9, 2018, from 10:00 am. to 11:00 am. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, MO. A procession to Calvary Cemetery for a graveside service will immediately follow visitation with Deacon Peter Gounis officiating.
