Loretta Shirlene Easler

December 1, 1950 — June 13, 2022

Loretta Shirlene Easler, age 71, of Saint Louis, Missouri passed away on Monday, June 13th, 2022 in Saint Peters, Missouri. She was born on December 01, 1950, to her parents Ellsworth Calvin Moore and Mina Lee Huggins Moore. She was the first grandchild of the Daisy and Homer Huggins family and the oldest of 7 siblings. In 1968 she married Albert Gene Easler.

In 1975 Gene and Loretta having so much love to give and having no children of their own, adopted 2 children Joyce and Robert, on June 11th, 1975. Their children changed their lives for the better and they would always celebrate adoption day together every year since.
Music and her faith were very important to her.

She told the story many times how she stayed a few weeks with her grandmother Daisy Huggins. Grandma took her to church every Sunday and would tie her Sunday school offering in the corner of a pretty handmade handkerchief.
She loved working for the Lord in any church she ever regularly attended.

She worked several years as a nurses aid. She continued to work as an aid, went to nursing school and completed her LPN license.
She loved music and sang with the New Life Singers, traveling to other churches, nursing homes, and prisons. She was a part of those ministries for several years.

Family was very important to Loretta and enjoyed every minute spent with her family.
She loved her daughter, son, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and enjoyed singing with her siblings at every opportunity .
She loved to do cross stitch and embroidery work.

She loved to cook. She had a loving heart, and would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. I'm sure she's happy and surrounded by love.

Loretta is survived by her Husband, Albert Easler; Son, Robert P. (Angie) Easler; Daughter, Joyce A. (Anthony) Keiser; Siblings, Regina (Lee) Holmes, David Moore, Donna Turner, Sherry (Chuck) Ferrell; Grandchildren, Kody Tierney, Shaylyn McBride, Emily Uzzle, Amber Jones, Monica Easler, Vivian Ridens; Six Great- Grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.
