Lorraine K. Zdvorak, age 94, of Weldon Spring, Missouri passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021 in Weldon Spring, Missouri. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on September 14, 1927 to Homer and Katherine Garner. She was married to John Zdvorak, Sr. on December 10, 1948.
One of Lorraine's biggest joys in life was traveling the world with her loving husband, Jack. She was a highly accomplished artist, seamstress, and leader for many years in Bible Study Fellowship. She spent much of her life devoted to charity work.
Lorraine is survived by her husband, John "Jack" Zdvorak, Sr.; son, John "Jack" (Karen) Zdvorak, Jr.; daughter, Linda (Steve) Lundergan; granddaughter, Lauren (Darrell) Alexander; granddaughter, Lisa (Chris) Cardetti; grandson, Matt (Karli) Lundergan; eight great-grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Homer Garner; mother, Katherine Garner.
The family will receive guests on Thursday, December 9, 2021 from 2:00pm-3:00pm at Bonhomme Presbyterian Church, 14820 Conway Road, Chesterfield, MO 63017 in the community room. A memorial service will immediately follow in the church chapel at 3:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lorraine's honor to the Wounded Warriors Project.
