Lovell Griffith

Lovell M. Griffith, age 82, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2016 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was born in Salem, Missouri on February 6, 1934 to Marvin and Ruby Griffith (nee Copeland). Lovell was a graduate of McKinley High School in St. Louis, and shortly after started work in the telecommunication industry and ultimately retiring as a Manager at AT&T/Alcatel-Lucent. He was active in the McKinley High School Alumni Association, the Meals on Wheels program through the Green Lantern Senior Center in Wentzville, where he volunteered in a number of activities. He was married to Linda Griffith on June 21, 2014 in Arnold, Missouri.

Lovell is survived by his Wife, Linda of Saint Charles, MO; a Daughter, Elizabeth A. (Leslie) White of Farmington, IL; a Son, Rick Griffith of South Carolina; step sons, Darryl Kops of Warrenton, MO, Bradley (Katie) Kops of New Melle, MO, and Brandon (Jackie) Kops of New Melle, MO; Brother, Wesley (Anna) Griffith of Arnold; Sisters, Kathy (Clarence) Colvin of St. Louis, MO, and Becky (Joe) Christante of St. Louis, MO, Grandchildren, Mika Collier, Sam Collier and Craig (Mary Beth) Griffith; Great-Grandchildren, Cole, Austin and Zach; step-grandsons, Charlie and Austin, and a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and five Brothers, Sylvan, Donald, Mike, Larry, and David Griffith.

Funeral Services for Lovell Griffith will be 2:00 pm Friday, July 8, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376.

Visitation will be Thursday July 7, 2016 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home.
