Luan E Bruemmer

Luan Bruemmer, age 87, of St. Louis, MO passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 in St. Louis, MO. She was born in St. Louis, MO on April 24, 1932 to Richard and Edna Kuehner (nee Dooley). Luan worked for Union Electric and Blue Cross/Blue Shield and was a homemaker for many years. She was married to Guy Bruemmer for 44 years. She enjoyed traveling, volunteering, and spending time with her grandchildren. In her youth, she enjoyed swimming and playing tennis.

Luan is survived by her son, Dean Bruemmer (Lisa) of St. Peters, MO and daughter, Stephanie Peters (Karl) of Highlands Ranch, CO, grandchildren Ally Bruemmer, Karl Peters, Connor Bruemmer, Logan Peters, and Zachary Peters, and a host of beloved nieces and nephews and other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Bruemmer, her parents, Richard and Edna Kuehner, and her sister, Marlyn Rehme (Richard).

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm, Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Dr. St Peters, MO. A Mass will be held Monday, May 20, 2019 at 10:00 am at St joachim and Ann Catholic Church 4110 McClay Rd, St Peters, MO 63304. Burial will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at 12:45 PM.
