Lynne Reiche

d. October 30, 2024

Chesterfield, Missouri

Lynne Reiche, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2024, in Rochester, Minnesota, with her devoted husband Rich by her side. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Lynne's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, determination, and laughter.

Throughout her life, Lynne embodied the essence of selflessness. She always cared about everyone else more than herself, taking joy in the happiness of those around her. Nothing gave her as much joy however, as time spent with her loyal canine companion, Jeri, who will carry forward the love that Lynne shared in her daily life. Her quick wit brought smiles to many faces, and her unyielding determination served as an inspiration to all who knew her. A true fighter, Lynne faced life's challenges with grace and positivity that radiated warmth to her family and friends.

Among Lynne’s many talents, her recent passion for nurturing house plants was a testament to her nurturing spirit. She became a plant pro, bringing vibrant life into her home, which mirrored the love and joy she cultivated within her family. Lynne also savored the simple pleasures of life, finding joy in the irony of intentionally burning her food, which added a touch of humor and a unique flair to her cooking.

Lynne’s proudest accomplishments were her children and grandchildren. She cherished every moment spent as a mom and bonus mom, taking great pride in the lives she helped shape. Her love for her children—Chaz (Greg) Ross-Munro, Casey (Jihan) Brueggemann, Alex (Denneisia) Reiche, and Andrew (Kyra Pearson) Reiche—was immeasurable, and she reveled in the joy brought by her grandchildren, Harper and Haven Brueggemann and Mycroft Ross-Munro. Each of them held a special place in her heart, and the memories they created together will be treasured forever.

Family was everything to Lynne, and her legacy will continue through her beloved husband Rich, her children, and her grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Joe (Debbie) Safron, sister Karen (Dennis) Hahn, step-sister Laurie Bluestone (George Telthorst), and sister-in-law Kristi Malawey, as well as her dear nieces and nephews, Anne (Brad) Collins, Jenny (Andrew) Ludwig, Rachel Bluestone, Lacey Malawey, Chelsey Malawey, Ben (Erica) Safron, Abraham Bluestone, and Justin Malawey.

Lynne was preceded in death by her devoted parents, Monte and Louise Safron, and step-mom, Judy, who undoubtedly laid the foundation for the kind and loving person she became.
