Mae Pearl Taylor, age 76, of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 in St. Peters, MO. She was born in Carrollton, Mississippi on August 4, 1945 to Bill and Mary Reed (nee Stanford).
Mae attended Amanda Elzy School. She was retired and a devoted mother, loving sister and grandmother. Mae had a wicked sense of humor. She was a great cook that fed many in their time of need, while working at the homeless shelter at the Salvation Army. While living in Europe, she also worked in Germany for 4 years cooking for the American soldiers and their families before returning to the states to work for Delta Regional Hospital until her retirement. Mae brought happiness and joy, love and encouragement with her words of wisdom. She routinely held Bible study in her home for the kids in her neighborhood and taught in children's church for years, leading many children to Christ at Abundant Life Fellowship Church. Being spiritually and physically fed were traits that were to be expected after meeting Mae. Mae was known for her smile and giving lots of hugs.
