Marcella Mary Johnston, age 94, of St. Peters, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 in Saint Peters, Missouri. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on August 14, 1928 to Martin and Sylvia Gierer (nee Vance).
Marcella enjoyed boating and traveling.
Marcella is survived by her son, Daniel Andrew Johnston; Grandchild, Michael Johnston; God-Daughter, Debbie Borland; and a host of other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Sylvia Gierer; and brother, Raymond Gierer.
Visitation will take place at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 with Mass immediately following at 11:00 AM at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church, located at 1355 Motherhead Road, Cottleville, MO. A graveside service will take place on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, located at 5239 West Florissant Ave, St. Louis, MO.
