Margaret Jane Geen

September 27, 1933 — October 23, 2022

Margaret Jane "Maggie" Geen, age 89, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2022. She was born in Bonne Terre, Missouri on September 27, 1933 to John and Ruth Mann (nee Groves).

Maggie is survived by her daughter, Angela Schleusner; granddaughter, Lindsey (Daniel) Frost; great-grandsons, Logan James, Isaiah Frost, Gabriel Frost, and Gideon Frost; sister, Carroll (James) Mallow; brother, Daniel (Anita) Corbin; and a host of other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Sidney Geen; parents, John Mann and Ruth Corbin; brothers, Alvin Mann, Johnnie Corbin, Mike Corbin, Dennis Corbin; sisters, Joyce Kaiser, and Janis (husband Norman survives) Olsen.

Maggie was a member of many social clubs, Red Hats being one of her favorites. She was someone who knew and remembered everyone and was known by all in return. Blessed with a beautiful voice, Maggie was asked to sing at weddings and other venues. She also filled her home with song regularly.

As a young woman Maggie wore many hats. In addition to being a wife and mother, she taught mentally delayed children how to swim. She was a calligrapher, an artist and a craftswoman in many different mediums. Maggie eventually found her passion in building doll houses and making miniature furnishings and accessories; many of which now reside at The Miniature Museum in St. Louis.

A loyal friend, a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Maggie's contributions to the world were significant in so many ways. She touched the hearts and lives of many, and will be remembered forever in the hearts of her loved ones.
