Margaret Morrow, a beloved wife, devoted mother, and cherished friend went to her heavenly home on December 9, 2024. Born on February 22, 1946, in Paragould, Arkansas, Margaret touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege to know her.
She was a proud member of the Stanford High School class of 1964. Her kindness, generosity, and thoughtfulness were evident to all, as she lived by the cherished belief of treating others with the same love and respect she so deeply desired for herself. Margaret embodied these values daily, making the world a brighter place for those around her.
Margaret's warmth and support extended to her beloved husband of 61 years, Lynn Morrow, and their treasured daughter, Suzy. She took great pride in being a mother, finding joy and fulfillment in every moment. Her guidance, love, and encouragement will forever resonate in her daughter's heart. Margaret also played an important role in her husband Lynn's life, tirelessly supporting him and his golf team, affectionately known as "the Skinners." She could often be found waiting between hole number two and three, ready to serve breakfast sandwiches with her loving smile—a gesture that perfectly encapsulated her caring nature.
She was raised in the Methodist Church, but was recently a member of Chesterfield Presbyterian Church, where she enjoyed spending time with her Lifeline friends.
Margaret is survived by her loving husband, Lynn Morrow; daughter, Suzy Morrow; and brother, W.T. Shewmaker. She joins her parents, Less Shewmaker and Ida Viola Gramling Shewmaker, as well as her siblings—Harrel, Elwyn, Doris, Geraldean, and Mary—who have preceded her in death.
Though she has left this earthly realm, Margaret's legacy of kindness and love will live on in the hearts of those she touched. Her strong faith and devotion to her family and friends will continue to be an inspiration to all. Margaret Morrow will be profoundly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Margaret's honor may be made to Lafayette Industries West.
