Margaret Schnelle, age 93, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2020. She was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on October 27, 1926 to Alfred and Agnes Schnelle (nee Ballard).
Margaret worked at Nabisco for 45 years. She loved to bowl, travel, play bingo, scratchers and the slots. Margie always valued her independence. Her family was a big part of her life, sharing birthdays, picnics, holidays, ball games and always lots of laughter.
Margaret is survived by her nieces and nephew, Stephen M. (Tracy) Hecke, Kathleen M. (Robert) Byrnes, and Agnes M. (Daniel) Kostedt; great-niece and great-nephews, Daniel S. (Megan) Hecke, David M Hecke, Robert L. (Beenish) Hecke, Mark D. (P.J.) Kostedt, and Amanda M. (Kevin) Schell, great-great-nieces and great-great nephews, Addison R. Hecke, Louis T. Hecke, Edwin T. Hecke, Aurora R. David, and Aaliyah R. Schell, and brother-in-law, Raymond Hecke. She will greatly missed by many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Agnes Schnelle; father, Alfred Schnelle; and siblings, Dorothy (Guy) Rumpell, Mary Ann Hecke, and Michael (Shay) Schnelle.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Monday, January 27, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376 (636-875-1200). A funeral ceremony will follow at 7:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions. Interment will be private.
