Margaret Jean Sparks

Margaret Jean Sparks, age 64, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 in Saint Charles, Missouri. She was born in Marshall, Missouri on June 15, 1958 to Forrest and Mary Standard (nee Patterson).

"Jean", as she was better known by her friends, was a Workman's Compensation Insurance Adjuster for Sedgwick and also worked Gallagher Bassett, AIG and Blue Cross Blue Shield. She was married to Michael Sparks for 35 years.

Margaret was an avid sewer and completed hundreds of cross-stitch pictures over many years. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family and also enjoyed traveling, especially to New England. She loved dogs, especially dachshunds. Very close to her heart were Lucky and Shadow, two dachshunds who were affectionally known as "The Boys", who she doted on, plus her "granddog" Zoe.

Margaret is survived by her Husband Michael D. Sparks; Her Son, Ryan C. (Jessica) Sparks; Grandson, Roscoe J. Sparks; Two Sisters, Judy (Jack) Scott of Norman, OK, Patricia F. (Larry) Speciner of Jupiter, FL and Brother, Forrest Lee (Kathy) Standard of Jefferson City, MO; twelve nieces and nephews and a host of other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Rev. Forrest L. Standard and Mother, Mary M. Patterson Standard and by her Mother-in-Law Agnes Sparks, Father-in-Law Jack Sparks and Sister-in Law Susan Starks.
