Maria C. Walsh

Maria C. Walsh, age 72, of Wright City, Missouri passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024, in Lake Saint Louis, Missouri. She was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on October 4, 1951, to James and Antoinette LoDuca (nee Palazzolo). 

Maria met Timothy, and after their first date, they were engaged and later married on January 22, 1972.  She loved spending time with her grandkids, taking any opportunity she could to spoil them. She enjoyed cooking, especially her Italian dishes. Most of all she cherished the time she spent with her close friends and family.

Maria is survived by her husband, Timothy Walsh; her sons, Frank (Laura) Walsh, and James Walsh; her grandchildren, Dominic Walsh, Drew Walsh, and Luca Walsh; her two brothers; her brother-in-law, Jerry Ploch; and her dear friend, Rose (Roger) Tubbs. She will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her Father, James Vincent LoDuca; Mother, Antoinette LoDuca; Sister, Roseanne Ploch; 

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm followed by a memorial service at 6:00 pm, all on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Burial at Jefferson Barracks will be private.
