Marie Carolyn Brooks

Marie Carolyn Brooks, born on February 26, 1951, in St. Louis, Missouri, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2024, in St. Peters, Missouri. She was the beloved daughter of the late William and Laverne Fecht and cherished sister to her two brothers, David and Bill Fecht.

Marie was a devoted mother to her two sons, Michael W. Brooks (Erin) and James Brooks. Her legacy continues through her three adored grandchildren, Brooklyn (David), Aaron, Zoey, and Koen, and great grandchild Ayden, who brought happiness to her days.

Throughout her life, Marie was known for her vibrant spirit and love for simple pleasures. She found joy in playing Bingo and Farkle, activities that brought her together with friends and family, creating cherished memories. Her late dog, Misty, was a constant companion, and Marie's affection for her was a testament to her nurturing and loving nature.

Marie’s life was marked by her unwavering dedication to her family and her ability to find joy in everyday moments. Her warmth, kindness, and infectious laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A private family service will be held to honor Marie’s life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a local animal shelter in memory of her beloved Misty, reflecting Marie’s love for animals and her compassionate spirit.
