Marilyn A. Stolte

Marilyn A. Stolte (Wolinski), age 83, of O'Fallon, Missouri passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, July 9, 2022. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on May 30, 1939 to Genevieve and Stanley Wolinski.

Marilyn was a loving mother, wife, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend to many. She married her one true love, Robert (Bob) Stolte, on May 6, 1961. Marilyn loved spending time with family and friends. She loved attending church, where she was involved in bible study and volunteered at many church events.
She loved to cook for her family, and her most famous dishes were mostaccioli, french onion dip, fudge squares and her most loved cherry pies. She also enjoyed her position at Sears Department store for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents Stanley and Genevieve Wolinski, her husband Bob and her sister Lorraine (Roy) Burgdorf.

She is survived by her brother Stanley Wolinski and 3 children, Michael R. Stolte (Laura), Robert S. Stolte (Rita), Karen S. Hohlen (John).
She also is survived by her 8 grandchildren: Jennifer Rodriguez (Nicolas), Rachel Hercules (Nick), Nicole Smith (Nate), Kristen Stolte, Shannon Stolte, Jill Stolte, Paige Hohlen and Alex Hohlen.

Visitation will take place from 9:00 am until 10:00 am with a funeral mass to follow at 10:00 am on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at Ascension Catholic Church, 230 Santa Maria Dr, Chesterfield, MO 63005. Interment will follow mass at Our Lady Catholic Cemetery, 8701 Orf Rd, Lake St Louis, MO 63367.

All are invited to a lunch following the interment.
