Mark Timothy Kirkpatrick

June 20, 1971 — August 18, 2023

Mark Timothy Kirkpatrick, age 52, of Dardenne Prairie, Missouri passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023 in Dardene Prairie, Missouri. He was born in Mount Vernon, Illinois on June 20, 1971 to Mark and Wanda Kirkpatrick (nee Cooper). Tim was a graduate of Mount Vernon Township High School in Mount Vernon, IL and of Diemakers Tool and Die Program, graduating in 1995. He worked as a tool maker for various companies including Diemakers and True Manufacturing before starting his own business K9 Machining. He was married to Holly Kirkpatrick for nearly 23 years.

Tim was an avid hunter, especially water fowl. He loved to go fishing, especially his annual June fishing trip with his father, Mark. Tim liked to drag race and work on cars. He liked anything with wheels that went fast. Tim spent years riding and racing dirt bikes. He also enjoyed playing video games. A hobby he picked up years ago with his uncle, Steve. Tim enjoyed spending time working around his house, including feeding and watering the birds, squirrels, and watching nature. Tim loved animals, especially dogs. He was preceded in death by his four canine boys, Bandit, Smokey, Nitro, and Trent.

Tim was one of the kindest and most generous souls. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and he never met a stranger. He had the ability to sit and chat with anyone for hours. Tim enjoyed spending time with his family and he always looked forward to his Sunday night phone calls with his dad. Tim had a very UNIQUE sense of humor. He thought he was funny because he was. He never backed away from a challenge and always seemed to thrive when he was underestimated. His last act of kindness and generosity was serving as a tissue donor with Mid America Transplant.
