Mark P. Scanlan

Mark Patrick Scanlan, age 67, of O Fallon, Missouri passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024 in Lake Saint Louis, Missouri. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on March 10, 1957 to Thomas R. Scanlan Jr and Isabelle Scanlan (nee Hedrick).

Mark worked as an investment broker in the financial industry for over thirty years. His favorite hobbies included watching old television shows from the 50s and 60s, John Wayne movies, and the History channel. He also loved music and having fun. Most of all, Mark loved spending time with his family. He cherished sleepovers with his grandchildren and watching and talking baseball with his sons.

Mark is survived by his wife of 43 years, Stephanie Scanlan; three sons, Christopher (Amy) Scanlan, David Scanlan, Timothy Scanlan; two grandchildren, Connor Scanlan, Emma Scanlan; brother, Steve (Carlin) Scanlan; four Sisters, Kathy (Randy) Powell, Susan (Rob) Politte, Barb (Mel) Wyatt, Trish (Doug) Keller; and a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas R. Scanlan Jr; and mother, Isabelle Scanlan.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 11:00am until 12:00pm at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. A memorial service will immediately follow at 12:00pm.
