Mark L. Unland

Mark Leroy Unland, age 84, of Dardenne Prairie, Missouri passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2024. He was born in Jacksonville, Illinois on March 17, 1940, to Alvin and Edith Unland (nee Brockhouse). 

Mark was a Chemist at Monsanto for over 25 years. He was married to Judith Unland for 62 years.

Mark was an avid golfer and tennis player. He had a love for science, research, and reading about history and science. 

Mark is survived by his wife, Judith Unland; daughter, Kimberly Edwards; son, Michael (Shelly) Unland; 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin H Unland; and mother, Edith Unland.

 A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. A service will immediately follow at 5:30 p.m. at the St. Peters Chapel.
