Mark Westergaard, age 55, of St. Peters, passed away on December 15, 2020. Mark was born on August 3, 1965, in St. Louis. He was the son of Carol
Dewell (Booth) and step-son to Ray Dewell
Mark loved to travel, especially to Denver and Boulder, Colorado. He would buy scratch offs and play the lottery in hopes of winning enough money to take the entire family to "Frozen Dead Guy Days" in Colorado. He was a "Jack of all trades" and never spent too much time in one place. You could always find him enjoying "Twisted-Teas" and smoking expensive cigars. Along with his motorcycles, Mark had a passion for antiques. He was always the jokester of the family and "life of the party." He will be sadly missed by all who new him.
Mark is survived by his loving daughter, Keleigh Westergaard of Columbia, MO; step-father, Ray Dewell; and sister, Heather (Richie)Dewell-Mesey of Wentzville, MO. Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Dewell; and brothers, Kenneth "Butch" Westergaard, III and Todd Westergaard.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters. Mark will be cremated at a later date.
Out of respect and safety for the families we serve, for our staff and for our community, all guests are required to wear face coverings at all times while visiting our funeral home.
