Marlene Jeanette Brennan, age 67, of Saint Louis, Missouri passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2017 in Bridgeton, Missouri. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on July 25, 1950 to Arthur and Lillian Self (nee Bauer). Marlene was a Sales Associate with Bed, Bath and Beyond for 14 years. She loved interacting with her dogs Judy and Cooter.
Marlene is survived by her Daughters, Maree J. Jones of Saint Peters, MO, and Chrissy M. (Tony) Akins of O'Fallon, MO; Sons, Patrick F. (Amy Oberbeck) Brennan of Republic, MO, and Pierre F. Brennan IV of Saint Louis, MO; a Brother, Art Self of Scottsdale, AZ; and seven grandchildren: Patrick K. "PK" Brennan, Kavanaugh N. Brennan, Darion Akins, Alyssa Akins, Jacob Jones, Joshua "Shu" Jones and Marissa Jones.
She was preceded in death by her Father, Arthur Self, Mother Lillian Kelly, and a Brother, Thomas Self.
A Gathering in Celebration of Marlene's Life will be from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Foundation.
