Marsha Kay Young

Marsha Kay Young, age 73, of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2017. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on November 23, 1944 to Charles and Mildred Niebur (nee Williams).

Marsha was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was married to John Michael Young for 48 years before he passed 2002.

She is preceded in death by her mother, sister Sue Eberle and in-laws Cathy and Marty Squires, Mary Ellen Declue, Timmy Young and Steven Young.

Marsha is survived by her children, Jeffrey K. (Meredith) Young, David S. Young, John C. (Liz) Young and Christine L. Young; her father, Charles Niebur; grandchildren, Kelcie Young, Sarah Young, Clay Shaft, Andrew Shaft, Carly Young, Kaitlyn Young, Kaylee Young, Leah Young, Harper Young and David Moloney; great-grandchildren, Brooke Hill and Emma Hill; sisters, Cheryl (Paul) Lapinski and Joan (Jack) Ickes; dear friend, Walter Diersen; in-laws, Gerry (Diane) Young, Tim Declue, Gerry Eberles, Debbie Young and Tormey (Mike) Breier and a host nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.

The family would like to thank Heartland Hospice and their staff for being so caring and supportive to the family. A special thanks to Carol, Mary and Alicia.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions 837 Mid Rivers Mall Dr., St. Peters, Mo 63376 on Thursday, January 4, 2018. Funeral Service will be at 10am on Friday, January 5, 2018 at Newcomer Chapel. Interment will be following the service at New Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery St. Louis, MO.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Wounded Warriors and St. Jude's Children Hospital.
