Martin Quintanilla, age 72, of Rolla, Missouri passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on April 5, 1949 to Martin and Linda Quintanilla (nee Munoz).
He was married to Janet Quintanilla for 47 years, since December 14, 1974. Martin and Janet spent a lot of time taking long drives and shopping together. He loved to travel around blasting his favorite Native music on the stereo, and making random calls and texts that made no sense. Martin was a big jokester, sometimes telling jokes that were never funny, and was never at a loss for having stories to tell. He was a thoughtful, sensitive man who always gave to others, never thinking of himself. Martin was one of a kind and made a lasting imprint on people's lives. He was the best damn husband, dad, and papa anyone could ever have.
Martin is survived by his wife, Janet Sue Quintanilla; son, Keith Quintanilla; daughter, Patricia "Patty" (Da'Ron Luckey) Quintanilla; daughter, Rebecca "Becky" (Josh) Flanigan; daughter, Linda Pappan; brother, Joseph (Michelle) Pappan; 18 Grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Martin Quintanilla, Sr. and mother, Linda Pappan.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 from 10:30 am until 1:30 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376 with the funeral service immediately following at 1:30 pm. Interment will follow in St. Charles Memorial Gardens.
