Mary M. Albrecht (née Meyer) passed away peacefully at home on September 13, 2023.
Mary was a source of frequent laughter, light, and love. She was a steadfast wife as well as a loving mother and grandmother. Mary served as a professor at Maryville University for more than 25 years, her career an example of the line, "Work is love made visible."
Mary will be remembered by Jack, her husband of 45 years; her children Tony (Sawil), Christie (Estevao), and Michelle (Alan); her grandchildren Kensi, Callen, Wylder, Leyla Sky, and Sophia; and surviving siblings Madeleine and Bill.
A funeral Mass will be at 10 am on Monday, September 18, at Ascension Catholic Church, located at 230 Santa Maria Dr., Chesterfield, MO 63005. A luncheon will follow the service.
