An avid sports enthusiast; Meg played softball in high school and transitioned her love of sports to her adored son "Cieman." Her life can best be explained by the poem from the United Baseball Parents of America - "If you give a boy a baseball . . ."
Meg was a very resilient person overcoming many medical adversities - she was brave, courageous and a very kind and loving mother, sister, aunt and friend.
Special thanks to her medical cadre of doctors and nurses and many loving thanks to her daughter-in-law, Emily, who helped navigate her care and comfort.
