Mary L. Gray

Mary Louise Gray, age 95, of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022 in Saint Charles, Missouri. She was born in Redbud, Illinois on October 12, 1927 to Herbert and Adeline Schmidt (nee Hellmer).
Mary was a Secretary at Metal Goods up until her retirement in 1990. She was married to James Gray for 49 years.

Mary was a member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary. She was an avid bridge player and sports fan. She was an especially big fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the St. Louis Blues hockey.

Mary is survived by her Three Sons, Michael J. (Alyce) Gray of La Quinta, CA, Stephen J. Gray of Saint Peters, MO, David G. (Carol) Gray of Saint Peters, MO; Daughter, Dianne M. Thompson of Saint Peters, MO; Seven Granddaughters, Kristen (Tom) Quimby, Jillian (Jeff) Burger, Alexandra Gray, Erin Lawrence, Meghan (Darryl) Vaughan, Christal (Brad) Bowen, Rachael Thompson; Two Grandsons, Elliott Gray, Ryan (Alena) Gray; Five Great-Grandsons, Logan Bowen, Mason Bowen, Jameson Gray, Cody Vaughan, Katin Quimby; Four Great-Granddaughters, Penelope McCallon, Kaylee Vaughan, Summer Quimby, Riley Benton; and a host of other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, James A. Gray; Father, Herbert F. Schmidt; Mother, Adeline Schmidt; Daughter, Kathleen A. Marler.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 10th, 2023 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. A funeral mass will be held the following day, Wednesday, January 11th, 2023 at 11:00am at Sts. Joachim and Ann Catholic Church; 4112 McClay Rd., St. Charles, MO 63304. Interment will be private.
