Mary Catherine Jaegers

Mary Catherine Jaegers, age 67, of Saint Peters, formerly of Frankenstein, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Barnes St. Peters Hospital surrounded by family. She was born on October 18, 1950 in Jefferson City, MO. The daughter of the late Norman and LaVerne (nee Smith) Jaegers of Frankenstein, MO.
Mary was a 1968 graduate of Fatima High School, Westphalia, MO and a 1972 graduate of Fontbonne University, with a bachelor's degree in Education with an emphasis in Home Economics. She had careers with multiple corporations including: AON, Firestone, Linn Nutrition Center, Lane Bryant, and as a clerk at Jaegers General Store. Jobs took her to various locations including Colorado and North Carolina.
Mary was a lifelong reader, traveler and art enthusiast. She found great joy in life's simple pleasures. Mary often found herself admiring flowers, ladybugs, and butterflies. Her most precious moments were spent with her 21 nieces and nephews and 38 great nieces and nephews. She enjoyed taking them to art shows, estate sales, parish picnics, the zoo, movies and the Botanical Gardens. Mary always enjoyed spending time with her sisters and looked forward to a yearly 'sister trip' which lead them on adventures to Washington DC, Orlando, Boston, Los Angeles and many more locations. Mary found peace in books involving history, art and biographies. She was honored to volunteer as a leader of the Frankenstein CYO and Teens Encounter Christ (TEC).
She is survived by siblings; Jim Jaegers (Patty) of Linn, Carla Bratcher (Larry) of St. Charles, Karen Rush (Albert) of St. Peters, Norma Ashmore of Bonnots Mill, Linda Ejchler of Loose Creek and sister-in-law JoAnn Jaegers of Jefferson City . She was preceded in death by her parents; Norman and LaVerne Jaegers; siblings: Carl Jaegers, Vernon Jaegers, Wayne Jaegers and Joan San Miguel.
Visitation is from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00a.m. on Monday, June 25, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions 837 Mid Rivers Mall Dr. St. Peters, MO. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, June 25, 2018 at All Saints Catholic Church in St. Peters with Father Peter Faimega officiating the Mass. Interment will follow at St. Charles Memorial Gardens Cemetery in St. Charles, MO.
