Mary Jane Osiek, age 86, of Wentzville, Missouri passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2024. She was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on November 14, 1937 to Ora and Jane Stone (nee Byrne).
Mary Jane was born and raised in a nurturing home that, in her own words, did not feel the burdens of the Great Depression. She was honored to be named May Queen of Ferguson, Missouri. Mary completed her education at Incarnate Word Academy, where she laid the foundation for a life filled with love and commitment.
Mary shared her life with her husband, Hank, and her daughters. Her family was of utmost importance to her, and she dedicated herself to nurturing them with unwavering devotion. Mary was deeply committed to her faith, which guided her throughout her life.
In addition to her family, Mary had a variety of passions. She enjoyed golfing and was known for her cooking, often preparing meals for her loved ones. Mary Jane and Hank enjoyed many good times golfing and socializing over the years as members of Bogey Hills Country Club. Travel was another joy; she cherished vacationing with friends, particularly in Cancun, where she made lasting memories.
An accomplished ice skater in her youth, Mary showcased her talents at the young age of three alongside her father and even garnered an Olympic sponsor. Throughout her life, she exhibited remarkable strength and determination, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Mary Jane's heart was vast, filled to the brim with love and kindness. Those who crossed paths with her would undoubtedly agree that she was one of the sweetest individuals they had ever encountered. Her legacy will be remembered fondly by her family, friends, and community.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Renee (Brad) Meyer, Lori Warren, and Sheri (Mike) Laramie stepdaughter Dana (Jim) Freed, her grandchildren, Kirby L. (Tonya) Warren, Heather (Jeremy) Hayward, Shaun (Theresa) Warren, Hannah (Kevin) Morris, and Deidre (Matt) Longworth, Nikki (Patrick) Gowen, Jacob (Heather) Boutz; her great-grandchildren, Ben Landrum, Brooklyn Warren, Kennedy Morris, Mable Jane Hayward, Kamryn Morris, and Kollyns Morris, Gabi Gowan, Trevor Gowan, Jeffrey Boutz, Bellamy Boutz. She will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry C. Osiek; her father, Ora Stone; her mother, Jane Stone; her sister, JoAnn Dougan; her grandson, Jason Laramie; and her son-in-law, Kirby A. Warren.

Following the Funeral Mass at St. Peter Catholic Church, there will be a procession to St. Charles Memorial Gardens - 3950 W. Clay St., St. Charles, MO 63301 - for interment.
