Mary T. Lauer

Mary Theresa Lauer, age 85, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023 in Saint Charles, Missouri. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on September 10, 1937 to Louis and Lucille Ernst (nee Jorn).
Mary was a Teacher at St. Catherine of Alexandria School. She was married to Thomas Lauer for 61 years.

Mary was an avid reader. She loved reading mysteries, watching the St. Louis Cardinals and the Hallmark Channel with her husband, spending time and playing trivia and Jeopardy with her family. Mary loved her faith, her church, and saying the rosary. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mary was incredibly kind and gentle. She never had a bad thing to say about anyone.

Mary is survived by her Husband, Two Daughters, Monica (Robert) Farrell, Theresa (Scott) Siebel; Three Sons, Tom (Tina) Lauer, Christopher Lauer, Steve Lauer; Four Grandsons, Michael (Huimin) Siebel, Keith Siebel, Nicholas Farrell, Josh Lauer; Two Granddaughters, Angela Farrell, Courtney Lauer; Great-Granddaughter, Elise Siebel; Great-Grandson, Emil Siebel; Sister, JoAnn (Bob) Cwiklowski; Brother, Jim (Leona) Ernst; Two Sister-In-Laws, Rita (Martin) Solomon, Jeanine (Lee) Drumright; numerous nieces, nephews, godchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Louis Ernst; Mother, Lucille Ernst; Two Brothers, Brother Louis Ernst S.M., Paul (Gerri) Ernst; Two sisters, Alice (Ples) Gambill and Kathryn (Joseph) Genco; Sister-In-Law, Mary Louise Lauer; Brother-In-Law, David (Bertie) Lauer;

Visitation will be Friday, January 27th, 2023 from 10:00am until 11:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cottleville, MO. A memorial mass will be held immediately following at 11:00am also at St. Joseph Cottleville.
