Mary J. Lawrence, age 92, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022. She was born in Berger, Missouri on June 10, 1930 to Daniel and Mary Hug (nee Rauch).
Mary was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She always had a smile for her grandkids and great-grandkids when they came to visit. Mary enjoyed working side by side with her husband, Glen, and displaying her creativity as a florist for 45 years. Throughout the years, she had made many friendships and personal connections with her customers. Mary's passion was cooking for her family and friends, and she made a family cookbook for her grandkids with the favorite family recipes in it. Mary loved spending time at the family farm, where she was able to tend to her vegetable garden. Her home was always open to everyone, and she often welcomed additional guests for dinner. Mary enjoyed Friday lunches with her girls and sharing a glass of wine at the wineries. She looked forward to spending time with her son, Bob, while making deliveries for his steel business. Mary looked forward each year to her annual vacation with her family. After retirement, she found time to have a cup of coffee and watch the hummingbirds in her backyard, and volunteer at Saint Charles Borromeo Church. Mary was loved by many and will be missed by all.
Mary is survived by her children, Glenda Lawrence, Cynthia (Keith) Hinote, Deborah Fromme, Robert (Kathy) Lawrence and Dianne (Joseph) Lantrip; her grandsons, Christopher (Amanda) Hinote, Brian (Karen) Fromme, Eric Fromme (Chelsea Cobb), Clayton (Stephanie) Lawrence, Adam (Leah) Lawrence, Seth (Reannon) Lantrip, and Jared (Joy) Lantrip; her granddaughters, Rachel Hinote, Stephanie Fromme, and Amanda (Anthony) Arnold; her great-grandsons, Wake Hinote, Jacob Lawrence, Jason Lawrence, Lucas Arnold, Lane Arnold, Westin Lawrence, Malakai Banua, Lyric Lantrip, Tekton Lantrip, and Uriah Lantrip; and her great-granddaughters, Johonna Banua and Magnolia Lawrence.
