Mary-Lee Leeds (nee Ambrosecchia) of St Charles, Missouri died Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at age 74.
After overcoming Polio as a young child, in her 70’s she became a victim to Alzheimer’s dementia.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years Michael Ray Leeds. Married and sealed to each other in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Cherished mother to Gina (Scott) Heien, Angela (Dan) Catron and Consuela Covington (nee Leeds). Beloved grandmother to Justin (Brittaney) Heien, Katie Kifer-Heien, Zoe (Jess) Roberts, Zane Kupfenstiner, Alexander and Sophia Catron with great-grandsons Ethan Wilkinson and Hudson Heien. Daughter of the late John Pat and Gertrude Ambrosecchia. Sister to John, Gerald, Daniel and Sherry (Robertson) Ambrosecchia. Godmother to Jay Ambrosecchia.
She was a talented artist who created beautiful oil paintings and pencil sketches as well as extravagant needlepoint and crochet. She wrote fiction novels, loved all music and everything cats. Her family was everything to her and she cherished the time she spent loving on and playing with her grandkids.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 1, 2024 from 11:00 am until 1:00pm. A funeral ceremony will immediately follow at 1:00pm. All services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 2245 S Old Hwy 94, St Charles, MO 63303. Interment will be private at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
