Mary "Betty" Meyer

Mary "Betty" Meyer, age 93, of Saint Louis, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 in O'Fallon, Missouri.

Mary is survived by her children John (Cynthia) Meyer, Michael (Dena) Meyer, Linda (Joseph) Scaturo, Teresa (Philip) Ferkel, David (Diane) Meyer, and Barbara (Glynn) Schlitt; siblings George (the late Geraldine) Grelle, Robert (Dorothy) Grelle, and Katherine (the late Robert) Schaefer. Also survived by 18 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Frank Meyer; parents George and Anna Grelle; grandsons Timothy and Richard Meyer; and sisters Ann (Allen) Wesloh, and Margaret (husband Richard survives) Howard.

Mary was a dearly loved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to many. She had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, they could do no wrong. One of her greatest joys was time spent with her family, especially weekend lunches with her daughters. In her free time, she loved watching Cardinals baseball, crocheting, and playing Bingo and cards with her friends at St. Patrick's. In her younger years, she and her husband spent many fun weeks camping with their children, and always made sure to travel to the Lake of the Ozarks for fishing, at least twice a year. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
