Mary Cathrine Norwood, age 76, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Monday, February 24, 2020.
She was born in Flat River, Missouri on October 7, 1943 to Alfred and Mary Kotovsky (nee Cox).
Mary was a Librarian who loved to read and was always seeking knowledge. Studing geneology and presidential history was a favorite of hers.
Mary belonged to several books clubs and enjoyed astrology and was a member of Astrology Association of St. Louis.
She was married to Will Norwood for 39 precious years and they enjoyed traveling.
Mary liked to spend her time caring for her pet dogs and feeding the wild birds. She loved to bake and also was a vegetarian.
Mary is survived by her Husband, Will Norwood, Daughter, Karol (Bruce Smith) Schweizer, Daughter, Katherine Y. Schweizer, Daughter, Laura A. (Greg) Dickson, Step-Son, Wykeem J. Yokley, Step-Son, Aaron A. Spraggins, Granddaughter, Erika Schweizer, Granddaughter, Madison Smith, Jessica A, Samantha A, Brianna A, Maryah A, Brother, Alfred J (Cheryl) Kotovsky, Sister, Barbara Bugg, Sister, Kathrine Kotovsky, Sister-in-Law Linda McMurry-Jones, Sister-in-Law Margaret (Leon) Norwood-Hatcher, Sister-in-Law Vicki Forrest, Sister-in-Law Annette (Anthony) Norwood, Brother-in-law Albert Norwood, Brother-in-Law Thomas (Terri) Norwood, Brother-in-Law Clifford Forrest and she will also be dearly missed by many Nieces, Nephews, Grand-Children and friends.
She was preceded in death by her Father, Alfred L. Kotovsky; and Mother, Mary A Kotovsky.
Visitation will be held from 10:30 am until 12:30 pm on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at Newcomer Funeral Home.
Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at Calvary Cemetery.
