Matthew "Matt" Stergos

Matthew Robert Stergos, age 52, of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024 in Saint Peters, Missouri. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on October 6, 1971 to John and Adelheid Stergos (nee Feldmann).

Matt was an avid sports fan, he especially loved attending his son's games. In his free time Matt enjoyed spending time with his family. He was also a fervent reader. His other interests included professional wrestling, poker, and board games. Matt was a dedicated employee of Wiegmann Associates where he worked as a mechanical engineer.

Matt is survived by his Two Sons, Charlie Stergos, Finn Stergos; Brother, John J. (Debbie) Stergos; Three Sisters, Christina A. Stergos, Margaret A. (Adam) Bush, Ellen F. (Jack) Barron; Nephew, Zach; Nieces, Justine, Amanda, Hilary, Rue, Addie; Two Sister-In-Laws, Erin (Chad), Katie (Mark); and a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Father, John Stergos; Mother, Adelheid Anne Stergos; Sister, Mary Kathryn Stergos.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376.
