Maxine I. Reed

Maxine I Reed, age 100, passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021 in Lake Saint Louis, Missouri. Maxine was born in Reyno, Arkansas on July 30, 1921 to parents William Ambrose and Minnie Cavenar (nee Kirby). She was married to Clarence F. Reed on September 23, 1939 to whom she was a loving and devoted wife until his passing in 1985. During their 45 years of marriage, Maxine and Clarence began a large and beautiful family, to which Maxine devoted her life to creating a warm and loving home for.

Maxine leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, son, Terry W. (Becky) Reed; daughter, Barbara A. (Joe) Youngbauer; daughter, Donna S. Gunn; son-in-law, Rosco Bourisaw; granddaughters, Pam, Cheryl, Michelle, Christy, Beth, and Alicia; grandsons, Tim, Mark, Adam, and Joshua; great- grandchildren, Abby, Steve, Ryan, Courtney, Elizabeth, Joe, Sarah, Andy, Luke, Landon, Katie, Renee, Leah, Allysan, Nathaniel, Anthony, Brandon, Christian, Isabella, Lilianna, and Alexander; numerous great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathleen Joan Bourisaw; and parents William Ambrose and Minnie Cavenar;

Visitation will be held at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376 on Monday, November 29, 2021 from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm with the funeral service immediately following at 1:00 pm. Interment will be in Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens, 2000 Pennsylvania Avenue, St. Louis, Missouri 63133 at 3:00pm.
