Meagan Jeanne Coil

Meagan Jeanne Coil, age 38, of Chicago, IL passed away peacefully on Monday, January 15, 2024, at JourneyCare Hospice in Chicago.

Meagan was born the daughter of Mark Coil and Cindy Schulte on February 4, 1985. She graduated from Fort Zumalt South High School in 2003. During her years in high school, she participated in track,cross country running and tennis.

After high school, Meagan attended Drake University in Des Moines, IA graduating with degrees in Psychology and Political Science. She was a member of Beta Kappa Chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta.

After college graduation, she worked primarily in managerial and sales roles within the insurance industry.

Meagan had so many excellent qualities: an open heart, unending generosity for friends and family, great sense of humor, perpetual smile, love of pets, and fun-loving.

Meagan's hobbies and interests included: golf, tennis, cooking, entertaining, and travel.

Meagan is survived by her parents, one daughter, Dilyn Jacobson of Minneapolis, MN; one sister, Sara Dean (Andrew) and two nieces: Aubrey and Riley Dean of Des Moines, IA; step-mother, Patty Coil of St. Peter's, MO; step-father, Brian Schulte of O'Fallon, MO; partner, Tim Ipema of Chicago, IL; and former spouse, Joe Jacobson of Minneapolis, MN.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm with a Celebration of Life to follow at 1:00 pm all on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, Saint Peters Chapel, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, Saint Peters, Missouri 63376.
