Michael S. Chapman, age 74, of Chesterfield, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2022. He was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on November 18, 1947 to Stanley and Dorothy Chapman (nee Castello).
Michael was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He enjoyed travel, golf, holiday gatherings, and a spicy Bloody Mary. He had a great sense of humor, many stories, and one-liners that everyone will remember. He could fix almost anything and passed his skills to his children. Mike was a selfless man who worked hard to always provide for his family. He will be missed immensely.
Michael is survived by his wife, Donna Chapman; his children, David Chapman, Mark (Jodi) Chapman, Elizabeth Chapman, Paula (Kurt) Kuhl and Erika (Jared) Parker; his grandchildren, Lydia Chapman (Ignacio Delatorre), Zane Chapman, Rori Clinton, Jacob Clinton, Axel Chapman, Oliver Kuhl, Isla Parker, and Isaac Kuhl; and his siblings, Debbie (Jim) Healey, Louise (Jim) Brandenburg and Christine (Ken) Scheller. He will be missed dearly by all of his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Dorothy Chapman.
Visitation will take place from 9:00 am until 10:00 am with a funeral mass to follow at 10:00 am on Friday, March 18, 2022 at St. Monica Catholic Church, 12136 Olive Blvd, Saint Louis, MO 63141.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Michael's name may be made out to the American Cancer Society.
