Michael John Dalton, Sr. of St. Peters, MO passed away suddenly on January 9, 2024, at the age of 80. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on October 22, 1943. He graduated from Beaumont High School and was drafted into the United States Army in 1965. After 2 years of military service, Michael went to St. Louis University and graduate in 1969 with a bachelor's degree of Science in Aeronautical Engineering.
Affectionately known as "Cool Mike" by his closest friends, he loved Corvettes, Airplanes and playing handball.
Michael was predeceased by his father, Eugene Joseph Dalton, his mother, Mary Elizabeth Korte and his youngest son, Matthew Korte Dalton.
Michael is survived by his oldest son, Michael John Dalton, Jr. (Lori), his daughter, Christine Marie Spingola (Marc), and his three grandsons, Michael John Dalton III, Dalton Lawrence Spingola and Colton Louis Spingola.
There will be a mass on January 25, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joachim and Ann Catholic Church, followed by a celebration of life at the St. Louis Elks Lodge #9 at 1:00 p.m. Food and drink provided.
