Michael E. Embree, age 61, of St. Louis, Missouri passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at his home in Moscow Mills, MO.
Mike aka "Frank," died unexpectedly from a massive coronary, the loss of our loved one was completely unexpected and the family is shocked and deeply saddened.
Mike was born on August 3rd, 1961, to Richard and Martha in St. Louis, MO. Mike attended Ritenour High School and was passionate about shop class and working with his hands, he loved playing football and baseball in his younger years.
After school Mike took up a love for cars and an interest in auto racing. He competed at St. Charles Speedway and other tracks across Missouri.
Mike was a jack of all trades. He worked as a self-employed General Contractor for most of his adult life.
Athletics and the outdoors were secondary to Mike's primary interest: anything on wheels, baseball, football, camping, hunting, fishing, archery, arrow heads, and collecting coins, knives and guns were of his primary interests.
Anyone who knew Mike knew that he was kind, warm hearted, had a good soul, loving, caring and independent as hell. Mike had an immense passion for the great outdoors and was always a source of positivity. Mike's family and friends will miss him more than words can say.
Michael is survived by his son, Shawn Michael Embree; his mother, Martha F. Berry; two sisters, Michelle A. Embree, and Brittany L. Berry; three nieces, Kailynn M. Cook, Taylor C. Cook, Hannah F. Cook; his "Pup son" Bo and a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard N. Embree.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm with a funeral service at 4:00 pm, both on Sunday, October 30, 2022, at St. Peter's Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Interment will be private.
