Michael J. Ferraro

Michael J. Ferraro, age 87, of St Charles, Missouri passed away on Monday, February 5, 2024. He was born in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan on October 11, 1936 to Michele and Maria Ferraro (nee Trusello).

Michael served in the United States Army for eight years. Then entered the private sector, pursuing a career in the steel pipe and tubing industry. He retired at 60 to his beloved lake house in Terre du Lac. There he became an active member of Saint Joseph's Parish, serving wherever he was needed. He joined the Knights of Columbus Council 1088, where he served as their Grand Knight with great honor. But his greatest joy was his family. After 12 years of battling Alzheimer's, he passed away peacefully surrounded by family.

Michael is survived by his wife, Glenda Ferraro; his children, Michelle (Michael) Piel, and Gary (Michele) Ferraro; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Jessica, and Jaimee; and his great-grandchildren, Parker, Mila, and Isla; He will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Michele Ferraro; his mother, Maria Ferraro; his five brothers and one sister.

Visitation will take place from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Burial will follow at 1:00 pm at Saint Joseph Cemetery in Bonne Terre.
