Michael Heflin, 59, of House Springs, passed away on February 27, 2016 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Visitation will be held Monday, February 29, 2016, from 11:00 am. to 12:30 pm. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376 (636-875-1200)
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 29, 2016, 12:30 pm at the St. Louis Chapel, St. Peters, Missouri, with Pastor Jason Noble officiating. Interment will be in the Lake Charles Park Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri. Donations may be made to the family.
He was born on September 12, 1956 in Norfolk, Virginia to Sonny and Marilyn (Bess) Heflin.
Michael is survived by: his son, Chad Heflin and wife, Tari of Wentzville, Missouri; Two Daughters, Bobby Lynn Heflin-Herron of Mexico, Missouri, Ashley Woehrmann and companion, Mikhail of Creve Couer, Missouri; three grandchildren, Madison, Shade and Dominic Heflin; one sister, Kathy Marlo and husband, Michael of Wentzville, Missouri; long-time friend, Debbie Washington of House Springs, Missouri; a nephew, David Marlo and Kerri; a great nephew, Jake Marlo.
He was preceded in death by his Mother, Marilyn Blayney.
He grew up in O'Fallon, Missouri. He worked at Monsanto in Sauget, Illinois and Sigma-Aldrich in south St. Louis for many years. For the past few months, he worked part time at Denny Dennis Sporting Goods in Fenton, Missouri which he loved. He enjoyed all outdoor activities especially fishing, hunting, gardening, photography and walking his dog, Toby.
