Michael Millonas, age 94, of Chesterfield, Missouri passed away on Friday, April 15, 2022 in Chesterfield, Missouri. He was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on October 4, 1927 to William and Helen Millonas (nee Papaioannou).
Michael had an amazing life. He was a son, father, husband, uncle, teacher, and friend to many. Michael loved all people and was highly respected by them. He was a gifted man, wonderful teacher, builder, and cook. Michael was always there to guide and provide for his family in all ways. He will be greatly missed by many.
Michael is survived by his children, Rachel "Shelly" Millonas, Elene C. (Rick) Beacham, and William J. (Claudia) Millonas; his grandchildren, Christina N. Beacham, and Joshua M. Millonas; his nephew, Lefteris (Pamela) Patelis; his goddaughter, Estelle (Peter) Papadopoulos; his brother-in-law, Peter (Suzanne) Bastas; and his niece/goddaughter, Erin (Andrew) Black. He will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Tasia Millonas; and his parents, William and Helen Millonas.
Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, West County Chapel, 2211 Clarkson Rd, Chesterfield, Missouri 63017. Visitation will resume at 9:00 am until 10:00 am on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 4967 Forest Park Ave, Saint Louis, MO 63108 . The funeral service will follow at the church at 10:00 am. Burial will take place at Saint Matthew Cemetery in St Louis after the service.
